MAGIC AT THE VENABLES
Presented by Magic Everywhere
About the Performance
Come laugh and be wowed by three of Canada's best magicians!
🍋 East Van legend Travis Bernhardt, who comedian Dino Archie once called the "hardest guy to follow in Vancouver," has been touring his award-winning magic shows (as well as multiple award-winning comedy shows) across Canada since 2008. When not performing, Travis mentors and creates material for other magicians, with his behind-the-scenes work appearing in performances on America's Got Talent as well as in theatrical shows by magicians across the Canada and the US. He also creates magic and trains actors for movies and TV, most recently Disney's Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Hallmark's When Calls the Heart.
"The real deal... Literally amazing" —CBC Winnipeg
"Get outta town! This guy’s amazing... He really takes risks — the stage is happily littered with playing cards, little red balls, and shattered preconceptions of what a magician can do" —Colin Thomas, The Georgia Straight, Vancouver
🍄 Nayana Fielkov is a critically acclaimed performer whose distinctive blend of magic, clown, physical theatre, dance, and comedy has earned five-star reviews and captivated audiences across Canada. A co-creator of the multi-award-winning RAGMOP Theatre and a founding member of Vancouver's beloved Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, Nayana brings a playful, genre-defying approach to the art of illusion.
“★★★★★ An extraordinary blend of mime and magic” — Global News
🪄 Rob Teszka is an eccentric, charming, and funny magician who produces and hosts the Parlour Magic Show, and tours his one-man shows Magic Dropout and I Hate Magic to Canadian theatres and festivals. For nearly a decade Rob lived in England, contributing to academic research on the psychology of magic, developing his taste for tweed and bow ties, and becoming an Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle, London's prestigious magic society.
"Audacious... You are going to love his show" —Stuart Nulman's Grapevine, Montreal
